New standards of renovation of band saws set by Luja Maskinservice

LUJA Maskinservice has developed, designed and engineered a mobile CNC-controlled tool, for turning or grinding of pulleys on a band saw with the correct crowning, while they are still on their shafts.

The conditions of the wheels are important for the capacity and up-time. Worn out pulleys cause more broken blades, lower lifetime per blade and lower capacity.

A total renovation of a band saw will include new crowning, adjustment of blade guides and cutting direction. This will increase your capacity and up-time significant.

Advantages by using CNC :

	The CNC-controlled tool is fittet on the structure of the saw and the pulleys are turned or grinded on their own shafts. A very precise and quick way of renovating the pulleys.
	Programming on the spot gives many possibillities to choose the correct crowning.
	The tolerances of the renovation are within 0,01 mm.
